Last time, we left off talking about some of the health benefits of eating the best foods.
Today, I wanted to talk to you a little bit more about the best foods and give you a longer list of the best foods to eat.
While many foods provide vital nutrients, vitamins and minerals, there are a number of important foods whose benefits go far beyond simple nutrition. These so-called superfoods are valuable at preventing a number of diseases and they should form the basis of any disease prevention regimen.
From their role in preventing cancer to their role in reducing the effects of environmental pollutants, these superfoods are extremely valuable to a healthy lifestyle. These are foods that can help you live longer, feel better and enjoy a healthier lifestyle and greater level of fitness.
Some of these superfoods have been known to science for centuries or even millennia, while others are more recent discoveries. What they all have in common, however, is their ability to prevent disease. These superfoods are among the most nutrient dense on the market, and most of them are both widely available and inexpensive, and that’s what makes them the best foods to eat. Whether they are included in the diet as herbs, whole foods or supplements, their role in a balanced diet simply cannot be overstated.

Origin: Orange trees grow in tropical locations around the world but they are best known in the southern and western parts of the United States. In the U.S., oranges are big business in Florida and California, as well as in Georgia and other southern states.
Major health benefits of oranges as part of a healthy diet
Oranges and other foods rich in antioxidant vitamins are being studied for their possible usefulness in preventing cancer and other diseases. In addition to their high content of healthful vitamin C, oranges contain more than 170 phytochemicals, including more than 20 compounds in the carotenoid family. These carotenoids have shown incredible promise at fighting many kinds of cancer, and oranges are the best single source of many of these compounds.
In addition to these carotenoids, oranges also contain important compounds called limonoids. It is these limonoids that give oranges and other citrus fruits their tangy flavor, and these compounds are thought to be strong anticancer agents. Oranges are among the richest sources of limonoids.
And of course the best-known benefit of oranges is its strong content of vitamin C. Vitamin C, in addition to its strong antioxidant properties and possible role in fighting cancer, has been studied for everything from treating colds and flu to helping cuts heal more quickly.

Take it a small step at a time to make it a habit of eating these healthy foods. When you eat these superfoods consistently, you will notice you get sick less, your energy levels will go up and you may shed a pound or two.

The best foods to eat are ones that will help you improve your health.
More people are becoming concerned about what foods they are eating and what better choices are out there.
The good news is there are super foods that you can eat to help you lose weight, fight off illnesses, improve your memory, lower your cholesterol, lower your risk of heart attacks and diabetes, and on and on.
Some of the best foods for you are some of the best tasting too. Oranges, loaded with vitamin C, folic acid and fiber, are delicious. They come in several varieties as well which makes it easy to please a picky eater.
But then you also have some other super healthy foods like spinach and kale which need to be prepared with other foods to cover up the not so great flavor they provide.
The good news is there are many superfoods to choose from. There are not just 10 best foods to eat or 14 superfoods, there are dozens.
In the future, I will post about them and give you some tips on how best to eat the best foods to eat.
